Our clients

Our clients are always the unusual cases, always on the margins of other services, always an exception to the rule.

Falling through the gaps

Our clients include sex workers, mentally ill people affected by Anti-Social Behaviour Order legislation, A8 migrants, chaotic young people, offenders, Irish travellers and vulnerable people who cannot or will not engage with other services.

People who have complex needs often do not meet the criteria of existing services and are not seen as the clear responsibility of any one agency.

Our clients typically present with three or more of the issues detailed in this bar chart.

Our clients: typical needs (2005/06)

Mental Health 90%, Accomodation 80%, Alcohol 48%, Financial difficulty 47%, Offending 45%, Physical health 44%, Self harm 40%, Drug use 39%, Learning difficulty 14%

We have an almost equal ratio of female to male clients.

An increasing number of our clients are from Black and Minority Ethnic groups.
