User involvement
Our clients are among the most marginalised people in society and their voices are rarely heard.
We're highly motivated to strengthen our users' involvement. We are piloting a service user involvement coordinator post, and have established a group of current and ex-users, who set their own agenda and activities.
We will support Elmore's User Group in seeking ways to influence policy on a local and national level.
Longer-term, Elmore plans to introduce mentor and volunteer training, and work opportunities for ex-clients.
